The Heart of Hummingbird Motion Pictures
Husband & Wife. Meet the Directorial Team
When they met in Cannes, France, in 2000, it was destiny at first sight. Steve and Dana were attending MIDEM and the Cannes Film Festival. He was there to launch his new hiphop portal, iiHipHop.com; she was there to run publicity for the British rock band, Simple Minds. Over the next decades, they created, wrote, filmed and led storied and colourful lives, coming together in a storybook marriage that bridged two continents. Now, in the craziest decade since the ‘60s, their renowned cinematic visions have been brought magically together under one roof: Hummingbird Motion Pictures, focusing on taking books written at SteveEgglestonWrites.com and putting them on the big screen, Netflix, Video Prime, and more.
